He didn't need those worried eyes watching his every move and those worried ears listening for his every rasping breath. Just another cold. That's what happened with AIDS patients when they were being stressed out and the move out here was stressfull. Hell, Being around the woman in the front drivers seat beside him was stressfull. The anger inside of him was building and building and building. He was about to flip out on her and tear her to pieces with angry words and even angrier glares.
It was four am in the morning and he'd woken up being unable to breath and coughing heavily. He'd managed to wake her up too and the moment she'd seen the blood they'd rushed to the hospital. Wasn't this the same thing that had happened to Ants? Maybe he'd be joining his lover after all. Laker was curled up in the front seat, a blanker wrapped tightly around his feverish trembling body as they made their way to emergencies but when he noticed this he reached over and grabbed at the steering wheel, twisting it sharply and causing his mother to scream out as she fought for control again.
"What is wrong with you?"
Laker was back in his curled up possition huddled for heat.
"Well... since we're not emergancy materiaal yet I thought, I'd try and make us fit in a little more, Mother dearest."
He got his point across and they found parking near the waiting room. She had those fucking glooves on. Those glooves she wore when she was about to handle him but he didn't wait for her to get out of the car to hel him. As soon as the car rolled to a stop, Laker's door flew open and he got out slamming it before she could react.
She got out of the car and called to him.
"Go home! I can do this on my own. I don't need you."
He called over his shoulder before slipping through the doors and inside of the waiting room. He moved up to the reception desk and leaned heavily against it.
"Hi, I need to fill out a patient form. I think I'm sick."
Well of course he was sick. He just didn't want the receptionist looking at him strange because of his confession that he had AIDS.
Once he had the form in hand, he moved over to take a seat and started filling it out. To his disappointment his mother had come in and taken a seat beside him and he scowled down at the form instead to try and ignore her pressence there with him.
